"Professor Burke was one of the few professors I have had thus far that left a standing impression on me. He was very organized, relatable, and knowledgeable. Accounting can be very numerical and he brought a life to the subject that not only helped with my retention of the course as I was actually interested and engaged in lecture and the coursework but even gave me an interest in the subject I was previously dreading. His slides were very organized and engaging, to break up heavy coursework he often included silly examples and graphics which made the material feel lighter. He was always open to answering every question to his fullest extent and ensured that the student in question understood the topic before moving on. Many times he went through a problem or question in more than one way which was appreciated because not everyone understands or processes information in the same way...He was very accommodating and understanding that students had lives outside of the class and made it known that what we put into the class, we would get out. Overall, Professor Burke was nothing less than an exemplary professor throughout the semester and someone that genuinely enjoyed teaching and the material he was teaching."

"Professor Burke has been my favorite professor during my time here at Loyola. He is an incredible teacher who is truly committed to helping his students. Whenever I had a question, even at an inconvenient time, he would hop on a zoom call to help me. Not only that, but he believes in his students so much and sees their potential. He guided me through switching my major to accounting, and I never would have thought about it without his help and belief in me as a student. He took much time out of what was required to guide me and set me up for success, and I am so grateful! Having such an engaged professor truly changes a student's mindset. He is absolutely incredible at his job and such a great mentor and resource for students to look up to!"

"I think this is the best math course that I've ever taken to be completely honest...Greg's ability to distill information to the lowest level and explain it to students is unparalleled. There were multiple instances where questions arose from complex concepts and Greg was able to use the Socratic method to get students to the right answer that they understood...Greg not only gave me the concepts but also the problem solving skills so I can now be confident that I can excel at Fuqua. If Greg were in the Army he would easily qualify for an impact award because the impact he made with his teaching."
